ORDINANCE NO. 2165 ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLES IV, V, VI, VII, VIII AND ARTICLE IX, DIVISIONS I AND 2 OF CHAPTER 9 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; ADDING ARTICLES IV, v, vi, vii, viii AND ARTICLE IX, DIVISIONS I AND 2 OF CHAPTER 9 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE FOLLOWING CODES: "THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE 1997 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM BUILDING SECURITY CODE, 1997 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM HOUSING CODE, 1997 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE, 1997 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, 1997 EDITION"; "THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 1996 EDITION"; AND "THE UNIFORM CODE FOR BUILDING CONSERVATION, 1997 EDITION

Section 9.125 Concrete Tilt-Up Wall Construction: Such construction <br />is permitted only if it meets the following criteria: <br /> <br />Walls shall be positively tied together by a minimum twelve inch (12") wide <br />poured in place concrete column and anchored to foundations, floors, and roofs. <br /> <br /> Section 9.126 - 9.139 Reserved. <br /> <br /> Section 8. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the date <br />of its adoption; provided, however, that the construction of any building or <br />structure lawfully commenced as evidenced by the completion of its foundation <br />structure, may be completed in accordance with the applicable provisions of the <br />Redwood City Code or State Code, as the case may be, (provided that such <br />construction is in strict compliance with such provisions. <br /> <br /> ORD-001 23 2165 <br /> FXS:jthmkc <br /> 611199 <br /> <br /> <br />
