SWC:mf 7/7/82 ~ 2. 1 8 6 1 JUL 1 9 1982 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE FINAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1982 - JUNE 30, 1983; PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF ALL SUMS SET FORTH IN SAID BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES, TRANSFERS, ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS OF EXISTING APPROPRIATIONS; PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSITION OF UNENCUMBERED MONIES AND FUNDS AT THE CLOSE OF FISCAL YEAR 1981 - 1982; AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 32.15 OF THE REDWOOD CITY CODE RELATING TO THE DISPOSITION OF PROCEEDS COLLECTED UNDER ARTICLE I, CHAPTER 32, OF SAID CODE; ADOPTING THE BUDGETS FOR GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS NO. 1-64, NO. 1-65, NO. 2-65, AND NO. 3-65 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1982 - JUNE 30, 1983; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1841, AND ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS

<br />expenditure required by law, the City Council may, upon the adoption <br />of 2/3rds vote of the members present at any regular, adjourned or <br />special meeting, or a resolution stating the facts constituting <br />the emergency, make the expenditure necessary to meet such <br />emergency. All emergency expenditures shall be paid by warrant or <br />check from any fund properly chargeable therewith and the Director <br />of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to pay such warrants. <br /> SECTION 6. Disposition of Unexpended Unencumbered Monies in <br />Funds at Close of Fiscal Year. All unexpended and unencumbered <br />General Fund balances at the close of Fiscal Year June 30, 1982, <br />other than that amount appropriated pursuant to Section 5 herein <br />are hereby appropriated to the General Fund program "Resources Held <br />in Reserve" for expenditure during the Fiscal Year July 1, 1982 - <br />June 30, 1983. All unexpended and unencumbered balances in all <br />funds other than the General Fund as of the close of Fiscal Year <br />June 30, 1982, are hereby appropriated to those same funds for <br />purposes of expenditures during the Fiscal Year July 1, 1982 - <br />June 30, 1983. <br /> SECTION 7. Amended Disposition of Proceeds Collected Under <br />Article I, Chapter 32, Code of the City of Redwood City. A sum <br />not to exceed Three Million One Hundred Thirty-Eight Thousand <br />Seven Hundred Thirty-Five and No/lOa Dollars ($3,138,735.00) , is <br />hereby appropriated and transferred from the Capital Outlay Fund <br />for expenditure during the Fiscal Year July 1, 1982 - June 30, 1983. <br />To the extent provided herein, this section shall be deemed to be <br />an amendment of Section 32.15 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1982 - June 30, 1983, only. <br /> SECTION 8. Budgets for General Improvements Districts No. <br />1-64, No. 2-65, and No. 3-65. There are hereby adopted as the <br />budgets for General Improvement Districts No. 1-64, No. 1-65, <br />No. 2-65, and No. 3-65, for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1982 - June 30, <br /> 4 <br /> 1861 <br /> --.~.,- <br />
