<br /> SWC:rb 7/01/83 <br />or permitted to be discharged into the sewerage facilities <br />pursuant to this article, the Director may, in connection <br />with the issuance of permits pursuant to the provisions of <br />Article IV, establish additional or different specific <br />limitations on wastewater strength upon a finding by the <br />Director, with the concurrence of the Manager of the <br />Authority, that: <br />" (a) The limitations set forth in this article may not <br /> be sufficient to protect the operation of the <br /> sewerage facilities, or any portion thereof, or <br /> the waste or wastewater proposed to be discharged <br /> constitutes a hazard to, or an unreasonable burden <br /> upon, such operation, or otherwise causes or <br /> significantly contributes to violation of the <br /> Authority's NPDES Permit; or <br />" (b) The limitations set forth in this article may be <br /> unreasonably restrictive when applied to a specific <br /> industry; and imposing a less stringent limitation <br /> will not cause or contribute to violation of any <br /> state or federal requirement of law; or <br />" (c) Specific standards have been established by the state <br /> or federal government for a specific category of <br /> industrial user, which would supersede the limitations <br /> set forth in this article, with respect to such <br /> category. " <br /> SECTION 5. Section 27.62 of Chapter 27 of the Code of <br />the City of Redwood City, California, is hereby amended <br />to read as follows: <br /> "Section 27.62. Special Agreements.
