ORiGINAL AUG8 1983 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 27.11, 27.20, 27.27, 27.29, 27.62, AND 27.134 OF CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE USE OF SANITARY SEWERAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 27.11 of Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, California, is hereby amended to read as follows

<br /> SWC:rb 7/01/83 <br />compatible pollutant. <br />" (11) Interference. An inhibition or disruption of the <br />sewerage facilities, their treatment processes or operations, <br />or their sludge processes, use or disposal which causes or <br />significantly contributes to either a violation of the <br />Authority's NPDES permit or to the prevention of sewage sludge <br />or disposed by the Authority in accordance with applicable <br />state and federal statutory provisions and regulations or <br />permits issued thereunder." <br />" (l2) Major Contributing Industry. Any wastewater <br />contributor identified in the Standard Industrial <br />Classification (SIC) Manual, prepared and published by the <br />Executive Office of Management and Budget of the United States, <br />classified within divisions A, B, D, E, and I therein, the <br />wastewater of which has anyone or more of the following <br />characteristics: (1 ) a discharge flow of 50,000 gallons or more <br />per average work day (if seasonal, the average shall be based <br />upon the seasonal discharge) ¡ (2 ) a flow or pollutant loading <br />greater than five percent of the design capacity of the sewerage <br />facilities¡ (3 ) toxic pollutants in amounts defined in standards <br />issued pursuant to Section 307(a) of the Federal Water Pollution <br />Control Act Amendments of 1972 (Public Law 92-500; 33 U.S.C. <br />§1151, et seq.)¡ or (4 ) a significant impact (determined by the <br /> 4 <br /> -..-."- <br />
