ORiGINAL AUG8 1983 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 27.11, 27.20, 27.27, 27.29, 27.62, AND 27.134 OF CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE USE OF SANITARY SEWERAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 27.11 of Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, California, is hereby amended to read as follows

<br /> SWc:rb 7/01/83 <br />Director) , either individually or in combination with other <br />contributing industries, on the sewerage facilities, or upon the <br />quality of effluent from the sewerage facilities. <br />" (13) Mass Emission Rate. The weight of material <br />discharged to the sewerage facilities during a specified time <br />interval. Unless otherwise specified, the mass emission rate <br />shall mean pounds per day of a particular waste constituent or <br />combination of constituents. <br />" (l4) Pass Through. The discharge of pollutants <br />through the sewerage facilities into navigable waters in <br />quantities or concentrations which cause or significantly <br />contribute to violation of the Authority's NPDES Permit." <br />" (15) Person. Any individual, firm, company, partnership, <br />association, private corporation, public corporation, or <br />governmental entity, authority, or agency, and the officers, <br />agents, or employees of such organizations. <br />" (16) Pollution. An alteration of the quality of the <br />waters of the City of State by waste to a degree which <br />unreasonably affects such waters for any beneficial use or <br />affects pollution may also include contamination. <br />" (17) Premises. A parcel of land, or portion thereof, <br />including any improvements thereon, which is directly or <br />indirectly connected to the sewerage facilities for purposes <br /> 5 <br /> , .._..~"._.._.._.._-----'- <br />
