ORlG!NAL ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 3.89, 3.137 AND 3.153, AND REPEALING SECTIONS 3.136, 3.139 OF THE REDWOOD CITY CODE RELATING TO MAINTENANCE OF SIGNS, TEMPORARY SIGN AREA LIMITATIONS, PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS OF ARTICLE II ("SIGNS") OF CHAPTER 3 OF SAID CODE, TEMPORARY SIGN PERMITS, AND PROHIBITION OF CERTAIN SIGNS, RESPECTIVELY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 3.137 of the Redwood City Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 3.137. Maximum Area. "No temporary sign <br />shall exceed sixteen square feet in area. The aggregate <br />area of all temporary signs placed or maintained on any <br />parcel of real property in one ownership shall not exceed <br />eighty square feet." <br />SECTION 3. Section 3.153 of the Redwood City Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 3.153. Violations and Penalties. <br />" (a) Any person, firm or corporation whether as <br />principal, agent, employee, or otherwise, who shall <br />violate or cause the violation of any provision of <br />this article or of any permit made or issued there- <br />under, shall severally, for each and every such <br />violation be guilty of an infraction and, upon <br />conviction thereof, shall be punishable by: <br /> 2 <br /> 1882 <br /> _.,~,_.. .. <br />
