Description
JAN 9 1984 ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 12.18.5 AND 12.18.6 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY PROVIDING FOR HAZARDOUS WASTE AND MATERIALS THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Sec~on 12.18.5 is hereby added to the Code of the " City of Redwood City to read as follows: "Section 79.101 of the fire code is hereby amended to read as ~. follows: Section 79.101. ( a) General. The storage, use, dispensing and mixing of flammable and combustible liquids shall be in accordance with this article, except as otherwise provided in other laws or regulations

<br /> The Facility Storage Map shall indicate the location <br /> of each hazardous material storage facility, including <br /> all interior, exterior, and underground storage <br /> facilities, and the manner of access to such storage <br /> facilities. In addition, the map shall indicate the <br /> location of emergency equipment that is used in <br /> connec~ion with each storage facility, the general <br /> \ <br /> purpose of the other areas within each facility, and; <br /> a. a floor plan to scale and the permit quantity limit; <br /> b. a list of each non-waste hazardous material which is <br /> stored in a quantity greater than the quantities <br /> specified in Section 80.l04(b) above which list shall <br /> include: the general chemical name, common/trade <br /> name, major constituents for mixtures, United Nations <br /> (UN) or North America (NA) number, if available, and <br /> physical state "of such non-waste hazardous material . <br /> c. a list of each waste hazardous material, using the <br /> above guidelines wherever practical. <br /> d. a description of the hazard class or classes, the <br /> quantity range for each such class or classes <br /> aggregated within each storage facility for every <br /> type of hazardous material that is included within <br /> the following ranqes: <br /> ,< <br /> .. <br /> (12) <br /> ._" ...."",.,.. ~ <br />
