JAN 9 1984 ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 12.18.5 AND 12.18.6 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY PROVIDING FOR HAZARDOUS WASTE AND MATERIALS THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Sec~on 12.18.5 is hereby added to the Code of the " City of Redwood City to read as follows: "Section 79.101 of the fire code is hereby amended to read as ~. follows: Section 79.101. ( a) General. The storage, use, dispensing and mixing of flammable and combustible liquids shall be in accordance with this article, except as otherwise provided in other laws or regulations

<br /> (c) Standard Form HMMP <br /> The standard form Hazardous Materials Management Plan must be <br /> submitted unless the facility qualifies as a minimal storage site <br /> under Section (b) above. The HMMP shall include the following: <br /> 1. General Information/Facility Description: <br /> A. Gene'ral Information: <br /> The HMMP shall contain the name and address of the <br /> facility and business phone number of applicant, the name <br /> and titles and emergency phone numbers of the primary <br /> response person(s) and alternate(s), the number of <br /> employees, number of shifts, hours of operation, and <br /> principal business activity. <br /> B. General Facili~y Description: <br /> The HMMP shall contain a map drawn at a legible scale <br /> and be in a format and detail as determined by Fire <br /> Prevention Bureau and shall specify the location of all <br /> buildings and structures, chemical loading areas, parking <br /> lots, internal roads, storm and sewer drains, and the <br /> uses of adjacent properties. <br /> The plan shall require information as to the location <br /> of wells, flood plains, earthquake faults, surface water <br /> bodies, and/or general land uses (schools, hospitals, <br /> institutions, residential areas) within one mile of the <br /> facility boundaries. <br /> 2. Facility Storage Map: <br /> The' HMMP shall be accompanied by a Facility Storage <br /> Map which shall be drawn at a scale as approved by the <br /> . <br /> Fire Prevention Bureau. <br /> (11) <br /> ,-. _........ <br />
