JAN 9 1984 ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 12.18.5 AND 12.18.6 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY PROVIDING FOR HAZARDOUS WASTE AND MATERIALS THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Sec~on 12.18.5 is hereby added to the Code of the " City of Redwood City to read as follows: "Section 79.101 of the fire code is hereby amended to read as ~. follows: Section 79.101. ( a) General. The storage, use, dispensing and mixing of flammable and combustible liquids shall be in accordance with this article, except as otherwise provided in other laws or regulations

<br /> mean that the HMMP has provided adequate information for the purposes of <br /> evaluating the permit approval. Such approval shall not be understood to <br /> mean that the Fire Prevention Bureau has made an independent <br /> determination of the adequacy of that which is described in the HMMP. <br /> (b) Short Form HMMP - Minimal Storage Site <br /> 1. The short form Hazardous Materials Management Plan may be <br /> submitted for a "storage fë1~ility if the quantity of each hazardous <br /> , <br /> material stored in one or more storage facilities in an aggregate <br /> quantity for the facility, is 500 pounds or less for solids, 55 <br /> gallons or less for liquids, or 200 cubic feet or less at Standard <br /> ~ <br /> Temperature and pressure (STP) for compressed gases. All other <br /> facilities shall file a standard HMMP (See Subsection c below). <br /> 2. The applicant for a permit for a facility which qualifies as <br /> a minimal storage site may choose to file the short form Hazardous <br /> Material Management Plan with the approval of the Fire Prevention <br /> Bureau. Such plan shall include the folJowing components: <br /> A. General information required in the application form; <br /> B. A simple line drawing of the faclity showing the location <br /> of the storage facilities and indicating the hazard class or <br /> classes and physical state of the hazardous materials being <br /> stored and whether any of the material is a waste; <br /> c. Information describing the manner that hazardous <br /> materials will be stored; <br /> D. Description of emergency equipment to be maintained on <br /> the premises; <br /> E. Statement that the disposal of any hazardous materials <br /> will be in an appropriate manner as determined by the Fire <br /> Prevention Bureau. <br /> . <br /> (10) <br /> ...." _.....- <br />
