<br /> DCB:sh 10/25/84 <br /> DES:sh 1/04/85R <br />if said route proves to be a safety hazard for any vehicular <br />traffic. A safety hazard shall be defined as an inability <br />of the Interstate Trucks safely to negotiate the route <br />and/or said Trucks cause unsafe driving conditions for other <br />vehicular traffic and/or pedestrians, and/or cause <br />extraordinary damage to or impair the use of any public <br />street or other public improvements. <br /> "Section 20.75.6. Appeal Process. (a) If the Traffic <br />Engineer or the Director of Public Works upon review of the <br />Engineer's decision denies a terminal designation, <br />disapproves a route designation, or revokes a previously <br />approved Terminal or route, the applicant/Terminal owner, <br />within ten (10 ) days following the date of receipt of the <br />decision of the Traffic Engineer or Director of Public <br />Works, may appeal said decision to the City Council. Such <br />appeal shall be in writing and shall be made on a form <br />prescribed by the Department of Public Works and shall be <br />filed with the City Clerk. The appeal shall state <br />specifically the error or abuse of discretion from which the <br />appeal is taken and shall specify the grounds therefor. <br />Within 10 days of filing the appeal, the Director of Public <br />Works shall transmit to the City Clerk the Terminal <br />application, the sketches of the revoked route and all other <br />data filed therewith, the report of the Traffic Engineer, <br />findings of the Traffic Engineer and the Engineer's decision <br /> 6 <br /> ~-- <br />
