<br /> SWC: sh 4/5/85 <br /> SWC:sh 4/18/85R <br /> SWC:sh 4/22/85R <br /> 1910 MAY 6 1985 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1910 MAY 6 1985 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25.1.1 OF AND ADDING ~R\~\\~~\' <br />SECTIONS 25.1.14, 25.1.15, 25.1.16 AND 25.1.17 TO <br />CHAPTER 25, AND REPEALING SECTIONS 5.18 AND 5.19 OF <br />CHAPTER 5 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />RELATING TO CITY PARKS <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 25.1.1 of Chapter 20 of the Redwood <br />City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 25.1.1. Definitions. For the purpose of this <br />division the following terms, phrases, words, abbreviations <br />and their derivations shall have the meaning given herein: <br />" (a) Alcoholic Beverage shall have the meaning <br />ascribed thereto in the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act <br />(Business and Professions Code, Section 23000 et seq. , as <br />the same may from time to time be amended)." <br />" (b) Amplified Sound shall mean music, speech or other <br />auditory impression, projected or transmitted by electronic <br />equipment intended to increase the range, volume, distance <br />or intensity thereof. <br />" (c) Commission shall mean the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission appointed by the City Council. <br />" (d) Department shall mean the Parks and Recreation <br />Department of Redwood City. <br />" (e) Director shall mean the department head of the <br />Parks and Recreation Department, appointed by the City <br />Manager of the City of Redwood City, or the authorized <br />representatives of the Director. <br /> 191 0 <br /> - - <br />
