<br /> DCB:sh 6/19/85 <br /> DCB:sh 9/03/85R <br /> DES:sh 9/16/85R <br /> "Section 5.2 Regulations for Maintenance of Dogs and <br />Cats It shall be unlawful, and it is declared to be a <br />- <br />nuisance for any person other than a duly licensed <br />veterinarian to keep more than two (2 ) dogs and/or cats over <br />the age of three (3 ) months at any one place within the <br />City. <br /> "Section 5.3. Maintenance of Certain Animals Unlawful <br />It shall be unlawful, and is declared to be a nuisance, to <br />keep within the City any stallion, swine, bull, ram, billy <br />goat, monkey, reptile or any animal not commonly <br />domesticated and no animal shall be kept within the City <br />other than those specifically provided for in this chapter. <br /> "Section 5.4. Sale, etc. , in Public Place of Fish, <br />etc. , as Pets or Novelties Unlawful. No person shall <br />display, sell or offer for sale, barter or give away upon <br />any street, sidewalk or other public place within the city <br />as pets or novelties, any fish, turtle, snake, lizard, <br />chameleon, bird, cat, dog, fowl, guinea pig or other reptile <br />or animal. <br /> "Section 5.5. Offering Animal or Fowl as Inducement to <br />Enter Contest Prohibited. No person shall give away, or <br />offer, as an inducement to enter any contest, any fish, <br />turtle, snake, lizard, chameleon, bird, cat, dog, fowl, <br />guinea pig or other reptile or animal." <br />SECTION 3. The heading of Article IIA. of Chapter 5 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended and renumbered <br />to read ss follows: <br /> "Article II, Permits for Dangerous Animals: <br /> 2 <br />.,. .-....--..-...., ----.-..- -.. <br />
