<br /> SWC:sh 5/16/86 <br /> SWC:djc 5/19/86R <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1931 <br /> JUN 2 1986 <br /> --------- <br /> ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH CAMPEAU CORPORATION <br /> CALIFORNIA; AND MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS WITH RESPECT <br /> THERETO (GID 1-64) <br /> WHEREAS, Government Code Sections 65864-65869.5 authorize <br />cities to enter into binding development agreements with persons <br />having legal or equitable interests in real property for the <br />development of such property; and <br /> WHEREAS, Campeau Corporation California (" Campeau" ) is the <br />owner of approximately 65.8 acres of vacant land (the "Property") <br />described as Parcel A of Parcel Map No. 71-7 and Parcel 1 of <br />Parcel Map 3-37, located within the City of Redwood City ("City") <br />and General Improvement District No. 1-64 ("District") , which it <br />proposes to develop; and <br /> WHEREAS, in conjuncttion with said development (the <br />"Project' ) Campeau proposes to enter into a development agreement <br />(" Agreement") with City; and <br /> WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report ("EIR") for the <br />Project entitled "Marine World Executive Park", consisting of a <br />draft EIR and an Addendum thereto, were certified by the Planning <br />Commission on September 21, 1982; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after noticed public <br />hearing, has found that the proposed Agreement is consistent with <br />the General Plan and has recommended to this Council that the <br />Agreement be approved; and <br /> I <br /> WHEREAS, after noticed public hearing and upon finding that <br />the Agreement is consistent with the General Plan, this Council <br /> 193 I <br /> --....-- <br />
