<br /> PPS:djk 2/16/87 (# 6) <br /> (d) Volume Charge. To each of the amounts specified <br /> in (a) , (b) , and (c) above, respectively, there <br /> shall be added an amount equal to $1.55 Vr (where <br /> Vr equals the average volume of waste or <br /> wastewater discharged per residential structure, <br /> in gallons per day [determined to be 270 gallons <br /> per day for single family structures, 220 gallons <br /> for duplex structures, and 180 gallons for <br /> multi-family unit structures]); provided, however, <br /> that said amount shall not be charged with respect <br /> to premises to which sanitary sewerage treatment <br /> capacity rights have been allocated pursuant to an <br /> agreement, resolution or other entitlement <br /> specifically so providing and entered into with or <br /> approved by the City; provided, further, that the <br /> amount of such rights is commensurate with the <br /> amount of capacity to be furnished under the <br /> connection for which application has been made. <br />(2 ) Commercial, Industrial Structures. <br /> For a connection serving any commercial, industrial, <br /> institutional (including schools, hospitals and <br /> churches) , or other non-residential structure, there <br /> shall be charged a connection fee calculated in <br /> accordance with the following formula: <br />Connection fee = $175.00 Vi E.4 + 0.3 BODi + 0.3 SSi] + $1.55 Vi <br /> Vr BODr SSr <br /> where, <br /> Vi = volume of waste or wastewater to be discharged <br /> from the commercial, industrial, or institutional <br /> structure to be connected to the sewerage <br /> facilities, in gallons per day; <br /> Vr = average volume of waste or wastewater per <br /> residential structure, in gallons per day <br /> (determined to be 270 gallons per day for single <br /> family structures, 220 gallons for duplex <br /> structures, and 180 gallons for multi-family <br /> structures) . <br /> BODi = biochemical oxygen demand of the waste or <br /> wastewater to be discharged from the commercial, <br /> industrial, or institutional structure to be <br /> connected to the sewerage facilities, in <br /> milligrams per liter as determined by composite <br /> sampling <br /> BODr = average biochemical oxygen demand of waste or <br /> 11 <br /> --.-.-"---.. <br />
