o R DIN A N C E N o. 1.958 --------- ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13.38 OF CHAPTER 13; REPEALING SECTION 20.93 OF, AMENDING SECTION 20.95.2 OF, AND ADDING DIVISION 11 TO ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 20; AND AMENDING SECTION 28.2 OF CHAPTER 28 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE PARKING OF VENDING VEHICLES, WAGONS AND PUSHCARTS THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Section 13.38 of Chapter 13 of the Redwood City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 13.38. Duration; Fixed Position. Mobile food vending vehicles in a fixed position shall comply with state health laws and regulations and the provisions of this Code

<br /> SWC:Sh 7/20/87 (#6) <br /> SWC:ó 8/14/87R <br /> SWC:djk 8/20/87R <br />of Police of members of the Police Department at all times <br />so that it may be determined whether the vehicle, wagon or <br />pushcart and the business being transacted from the vehicle, <br />wagon or pushcart is being done in compliance with the <br />permit, the provisions of section 20.215, and all laws, <br />ordinances and regulations. <br /> "Section 20.225. Identification Permit. No person <br />shall sell, offer for sale, barter, exchange, display or <br />solicit any goods, wares, merchandise or food from any <br />vehicle, wagon or pushcart upon any portion of any street <br />within this City without first having obtained an <br />identification permit in accordance with the provisions of <br />Article 1 of Chapter 28 of this Code. <br /> II Section 20.226. Violation an Infraction. Any person <br />violating any of the provisions of this Division shall be <br />guilty of an infraction and, upon conviction thereof, shall <br />be punishable as provided in Section 1.7(b) of this Code. II <br />SECTION 5. Section 28.2 of Article 1 of Chapter 28 of the <br />Redwood City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 28.2. Application of Article. This Article <br />shall not apply to persons under eighteen years of age; <br />except that every person, regardless of age, shall be <br />required to obtain an identification permit pursuant to this <br />Article in order to lawfully sell, offer for sale, barter, <br />exchange, display or solicit goods, wares, merchandise or <br />food from any vehicle, wagon or pushcart upon any portion of <br />any street within this City.
