o R DIN A N C E N o. 1.958 --------- ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13.38 OF CHAPTER 13; REPEALING SECTION 20.93 OF, AMENDING SECTION 20.95.2 OF, AND ADDING DIVISION 11 TO ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 20; AND AMENDING SECTION 28.2 OF CHAPTER 28 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE PARKING OF VENDING VEHICLES, WAGONS AND PUSHCARTS THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Section 13.38 of Chapter 13 of the Redwood City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 13.38. Duration; Fixed Position. Mobile food vending vehicles in a fixed position shall comply with state health laws and regulations and the provisions of this Code

<br /> SWC:Sh 7/20/87 (#6) <br /> SWC:ó - 8/14/87R <br /> SWC:djk 8/20/87R <br />vehicle, wagon or pushcart for which the permit was issued <br />at the permitted location or locations, or that any law, <br />ordinance or regulation would be violated by said continued <br />standing or parking. <br /> "Before revoking any permit, at least five ( 5) days <br />notice shall be given to the applicant, and he shall be <br />given an opportunity to be heard by the Chief of Police. <br /> "Section 20.22I. Appeal from Revocation of Permit. <br />Any revocation of a permit may be appealed to the City <br />Council within ten (10) days after the date of mailing of <br />the notice of the Chief of Police's action to the permittee. <br />The appeal shall be in writing and shall be filed with the <br />City Clerk. The appeal shall be reviewed by the City <br />Council after notice to the permittee of the time and place <br />of review, and the City Council shall, after review, either <br />affirm, reverse or modify the decision of the Chief of <br />Police. <br /> "Section 20.222. Sale or Transfer of Permitted <br />Vehicle, Wagon or Pushcart. If any owner sells or transfers <br />title to a vehicle, wagon or pushcart for which a permit has <br />been issued pursuant to the provisions of this Division, the <br />owner to whom such permit had been issued therefor shall <br />surrender such permit to the Chief of Police. <br /> "Section 20.223. Permit Nontransferable. No permit <br />shall be transferable. <br /> "Section 20.224. Inspection. A permitted vehicle, <br />wagon or pushcart shall be open to inspection by the Chief <br /> 9 <br /> -,~.... <br />
