o R DIN A N C E N o. 1.958 --------- ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13.38 OF CHAPTER 13; REPEALING SECTION 20.93 OF, AMENDING SECTION 20.95.2 OF, AND ADDING DIVISION 11 TO ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 20; AND AMENDING SECTION 28.2 OF CHAPTER 28 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE PARKING OF VENDING VEHICLES, WAGONS AND PUSHCARTS THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Section 13.38 of Chapter 13 of the Redwood City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 13.38. Duration; Fixed Position. Mobile food vending vehicles in a fixed position shall comply with state health laws and regulations and the provisions of this Code

Appeal from Denial of Permit. Any <br />denial of an application for a permit or the establishment <br />of any condition thereon may be appealed to the City Council <br />within thirty (30 ) days after the date of mailing of the <br />notice of the Chief of Police's action to the applicant. <br />The appeal shall be in writing and shall be filed with the <br />City Clerk. The appeal shall be reviewed by the City <br />Council after notice to the applicant of the time and place <br />of review, and the City Council shall, after review, either <br />grant, conditionally grant or deny the permit. <br /> "Section 20.218. Term of Permit. A permit shall be <br />valid only for the date for which it is issued or for a <br />period of one year, depending upon the permit which has been <br />approved by the Chief of Police. <br /> "Section 20.219. Hours of Validity. Any vending <br />permit issued under the provisions of this Division shall be <br />valid only between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. of <br />any day. <br /> "Section 20.220. Revocation of Permit; Hearing. Any <br />yearly vending permit may be revoked by the Chief of Police <br />at any time it is determined that any conditions of the <br />permit have been violated or that any of the provisions of <br />section 20.219 would be violated by continued standing or <br />parking in excess of thirty consecutive minutes of the <br /> 8 <br /> _.~ , <br />
