o R DIN A N C E N o. 1.958 --------- ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13.38 OF CHAPTER 13; REPEALING SECTION 20.93 OF, AMENDING SECTION 20.95.2 OF, AND ADDING DIVISION 11 TO ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 20; AND AMENDING SECTION 28.2 OF CHAPTER 28 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE PARKING OF VENDING VEHICLES, WAGONS AND PUSHCARTS THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Section 13.38 of Chapter 13 of the Redwood City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 13.38. Duration; Fixed Position. Mobile food vending vehicles in a fixed position shall comply with state health laws and regulations and the provisions of this Code

(a) It shall be the duty of each police officer or <br />parking enforcement deputy to take the state vehicle license <br />of such vehicle; the time, place, and date of such <br />violation; and make of such vehicle; and issue, in writing, <br />a citation for illegal parking in the same form and subject <br />to the same procedure provided for by the laws of the state <br />applicable to traffic violations within the city. <br /> .. (b) Any operator or owner of a vehicle to whom a <br />citation has been issued in accordance with the preceding <br />subsection may, within fifteen (15) days of the time of the <br />issuance of such citation, pay to the appropriate court, as <br />a penalty for the full satisfaction of such violation, the <br />sum of ten dollars ($10.00) plus applicable surcharges <br />established by resolution. The mailing, in a sealed <br />envelope properly addressed through the United States mail <br />of a check, money order or postal order, within fifteen (15) <br />days from the time of issuance of the citation, or notice of <br />such violation, or the deposit with the court of the sum of <br />ten dollars ($10.00) , plus applicable surcharges, within <br />such fifteen (15) days constitutes compliance with this <br />provision. Delivery of such envelope shall be the <br />responsibility of such owner or operator. The failure of <br />such owner or operator to make such payment within said <br />fifteen (15) days shall render such owner or operator <br />subject to the penalties provided for violations of the <br />provisions of this Division." <br /> 2 <br /> _.~" . <br />
