o R DIN A N C E N o. 1.958 --------- ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13.38 OF CHAPTER 13; REPEALING SECTION 20.93 OF, AMENDING SECTION 20.95.2 OF, AND ADDING DIVISION 11 TO ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 20; AND AMENDING SECTION 28.2 OF CHAPTER 28 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE PARKING OF VENDING VEHICLES, WAGONS AND PUSHCARTS THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Section 13.38 of Chapter 13 of the Redwood City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 13.38. Duration; Fixed Position. Mobile food vending vehicles in a fixed position shall comply with state health laws and regulations and the provisions of this Code

Division 11 is hereby added to Article VII of <br />Chapter 20 of the Redwood City Code, to read as follows: <br /> "Division II. Parking of Vehicles of Peddlers or <br />Vendors and Vehicles Transporting Property for Hire. <br /> "Section 20.21I. Parking of Vehicles, Wagons or <br />Pushcarts by Peddlers or Vendors and the Parking of Vehicles <br />Transporting Property for Hire Restricted. Except as <br />otherwise provided in this Division, no person shall park or <br />leave standing any vehicle, wagon or pushcart from which <br />goods, wares, merchandise or food are sold, offered for <br />sale, bartered, exchanged, displayed, or solicited or any <br />vehicle, wagon or pushcart used or intended to be used in <br />the transportation of property for hire, upon any portion of <br />any street within this city, except that such vehicles, <br />wagons or pushcarts may stand or park only at the request of <br />a bona fide purchaser, or patron of a vehicle for hire, for <br />a period of time not to exceed thirty consecutive minutes at <br />anyone place. For purposes of this Division, such vehicle, <br />wagon or pushcart shall be considered to have been parked or <br />left standing for a period exceeding thirty consecutive <br />minutes if such vehicle, wagon or pushcart has not been <br />moved at least five hundred feet or more during said thirty <br />minutes, or has moved at least five hundred feet and returns <br />to its prior position within any four hour period. The <br />provisions of this Division shall not apply to persons <br />delivering such articles upon order of, or by agreement with <br /> 3 <br /> - ~.. <br />
