1963 JAN 1 8 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 9 . 2 AND 9.24, AND ARTICLES IV, V, VI, VII, AND VIII OF CHAPTER 9 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, INCLUDING THE ADOPTION BY REFERENCE OF THE FOLLOWING CODES: "THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE, 1985 EDITION" ; "THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE STANDARDS, 1985 EDITION" ; "THE UNIFORM BUILDING SECURITY CODE, 1985 EDITION" ; liTHE UNIFORM HOUSING CODE, 1985 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE, 1985 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, 1985 EDITION"; AND "THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 1984 EDITION" THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 9.2 of the Redwood City Code is hereby amended to read as follows

Applications <br /> submitted to the Building Department requesting <br /> inspection for the purpose of determing compliance with <br /> City Building, Housing, Plumbing, Electrical and <br /> Mechanical codes shall be accompanied by a <br /> nonrefundable fee for such service as established by <br /> resolution of the City Council.'" <br /> "Section 9.43. Section 308 is hereby added to the <br /> Building Code to read as follows: <br /> "'Section 308. (a) No Building permit or <br /> certificate of occupancy shall be issued by the <br /> Building Official if the structure to be constructed or <br /> altered or the parcel of property in connection with <br /> which the permit or certificate is applied for fails to <br /> comply in any respect with the provisions of the <br /> following ordinances or provisions of the Code of the <br /> City of Redwood City as they now exist or as they may <br /> be form time to time amended: <br /> " , (1) Articles VI, VII and VIII of Chapter 9 of <br /> the Code of the City of Redwood City (Mechanical <br /> Code, Plumbing Code, Electrical Code <br /> respectively) . <br /> " , (2) Article II of Chapter 12 of the Code of the <br /> City of Redwood City (Fire Prevention). <br /> " , (3) Ordinance No. 1130 (Zoning). <br /> 4 <br /> --" <br />
