1963 JAN 1 8 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 9 . 2 AND 9.24, AND ARTICLES IV, V, VI, VII, AND VIII OF CHAPTER 9 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, INCLUDING THE ADOPTION BY REFERENCE OF THE FOLLOWING CODES: "THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE, 1985 EDITION" ; "THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE STANDARDS, 1985 EDITION" ; "THE UNIFORM BUILDING SECURITY CODE, 1985 EDITION" ; liTHE UNIFORM HOUSING CODE, 1985 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE, 1985 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, 1985 EDITION"; AND "THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 1984 EDITION" THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 9.2 of the Redwood City Code is hereby amended to read as follows

Section 204 of the Building Code is <br /> hereby deleted and shall have no force or effect in the <br /> City. <br /> "Section 9.42. Section 304 of the Building Code is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "'Section 304. (a) Building Permit Fees. The <br /> Building Official shall charge a fee to the person <br /> filing an application for such permit, such fee to be <br /> established by resolution of the Council. <br /> " , (b) Valuation of Work. The determination of <br /> value or valuation under any of the provisions of this <br /> code shall be made by the Building Official. The value <br /> to be used in computing the building permit and <br /> building plan review fees shall be the total value of <br /> all construction work for which the permit is issued as <br /> well as all finish work, painting, roofing, electrical, <br /> plumbing, heating, air conditioning, elevators, fire <br /> 3 <br /> ,.-.-.-.,-... <br />
