JAH:djm 11/28/89 (011/#8) <br />WHEREAS, copies of the notice of joint public hearing were <br />mailed by certified mail with return receipt requested to the <br />last known address of each assessee as shown on the last <br />equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo for each <br />parcel of land in the Amended Project Area and to persons, firms <br />and corporations which have acquired property within the existing <br />Project Area from the Agency; and <br />WHEREAS, each assessee in the Amended Project Area whose <br />property would be subject to acquisition by purchase or <br />condemnation under the provisions of the Redevelopment Plan as <br />amended by the Second Amendment was sent a separate statement to <br />such effect attached to the notice of the joint public hearing, <br />including a map and legal description of the Amended Project <br />Area; and <br />WHEREAS, copies of the notice of joint public hearing were <br />mailed by certified mail with return receipt requested to the <br />governing body of each taxing agency which receives taxes from <br />property in the Amended Project Area; and notices were also <br />mailed to community organizations and residential and business <br />tenants and were posted in accessible locations for notices to <br />the general public from the Agency; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has evaluated the report and <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission, the report of the <br />Agency, the Second Amendment and its economic feasibility, and <br />the Final Environmental Impact Report, has provided an <br />opportunity for all persons to be heard, and has received and <br />4 <br />2007 <br />
