10/14/2019 TEMPORARY -VISITOR PARKING PERMIT: A permit issued pursuant to Section 20.203this-Bivisien-which is valid for a Fnaximuri ep riod of either NverF � heurs one (1) day or fourteen (14) days. [All other definitions in this Section remain unchanged. Definitions will be placed in alphabetical order.] Sec. 20.201. - ISSUANCE OF PERMITS: Residential parking permits shall be issued by the Director of Finanee. Parking permits may be issued to an owner or resident of property within a residential parking permit area or to a guest of such an owner or resident duly authorized by the owner or resident to apply for a residential parking permit, provided, that a residential parking permit shall only be issued to an owner, resident, or guest who has a motor vehicle currently registered in his or her name, or who has lawful possession of a motor vehicle for his or her exclusive use and/or which is under his or her control. Not more than one residential parking permit shall be issued for any motor vehicle. The Director may establish rules and regulations necessary or appropriate to carry out the purpose of this Division. The Director shall require each applicant for a residential parking permit to establish proof of residency and vehicle ownership, possession or control in compliance with this Division. Sec. 20.202. - DURATION AND LIMIT ON NUMBER OF PERMITS TO BE ISSUED: There shall be no more than three (3) permits to -that may be issued to any single residential address within a residential permit parking area, unless otherwise established by resolution for a particular residential permit parking area. A separate application shall be filed for each motor vehicle. Each residential parking permit issued by the Director shall be valid for a maximum of one year unless otherwise stated on the permit. The Director shall cause to be prepared and issue effective on or about January 1 of each year, a distinctively colored sticker for issuance to permittees of residential parking permits, which sticker shall be affixed to the motor vehicle for which a permit is issued at the location specified in Section 20.204 of this Division. Sec. 20.203. - TEMPORARY OR r_i iE-eTVISITOR PARKING PERMITS: A. Visitor parking permits may be issued to residents in a residential oarkina permit area. The Director shall issue visitor parking permits in accordance with this section.
