Last night the whole family was gathered together in celebration of her husband's birthday While they
were cutting the cake the landlord knocked on the door. The landlord then told the family that they didn't have
to pay the rent increase anymore. Upon hearing this news the family was overcome with joy, they felt as if they
could finally breathe. However, they were not prepared to read the notice that was given to them by the
landlord. Because off the 60 days notice they were going to be evicted on Christmas Day. The whole family
was devastated. Her children were worried because they didn't know where they were going to spend
Christmas. The entire family couldn't sleep last night because of the stress they're under.
This is why the emergency ordinance is so important to prevent more homelessness. Thank you for doing what
is right for our community. The eviction notice will be attached to this email.
