Para mi la comunidad de la Iglesia San Antonio a sido un pilar en mi vida esa as mi comunidad <br />de fe a la que eh pertenecido desde qua Ilegue vivir a RWC y es parte importante para mi ahi <br />me siento parte de la comunidad. <br />Cuando vi la notificaci6n de aumento de renta me quede paralizada y con mucha tristeza, me <br />angustie y preocupe porque 750 $ as demasiado, es un aumento sin sentido. Ya que realmente <br />no entiendo coma piensan que vamos a pagar ese tipo de aumentos si los trabajos nunca nos <br />aumentaran esas cantidades ni siquiera en un ano mucho menos de un dia a otro. <br />Realmente no se que vamos a hacer? Aunque pienso tambien que hoy me toco a mi, pero <br />realmente he visto como tantas familias se han visto forzadas a irse. Por eso es que tantas <br />escuelas est6n cerrando aqui en RWC. Recuerdo que siempre decian que as porque no habia <br />suficientes alumnos pero c6mo as que va a haber alumnos si nuestras familias est6n siendo <br />expulsadas por desalojos injustos y estos aumentos tan altos y sin sentido. <br />Ademas que si tenemos ninos es mucho m6s dificil rentar porque no en cualquier lugar nos <br />aceptan. <br />Quiero pedirles que implementen una ordenanza de emergencia para proteger a nuestras <br />familias ahora ya que al parecer estos 3 meses es cuando se intentara subir la renta tanto <br />como sea posible y desalojar a la gente sin raz6n. <br />Gracias, <br />Aracely <br />My name is Aracely, and I've lived in RWC for over 18 years. RWC for me represents <br />the foundation of my life: my children were born and grew up here, they continue <br />studying at nearby schools Sequoia High School is a place where they have received <br />the necessary support to prepare for their future. Our jobs and all services are close. <br />Moving to another city or another state for us would be very difficult to adapt to <br />everything and start from the bottom again, without knowing anyone. <br />The community of San Antonio Church has been a pillar for me. It is the community of <br />faith I've belonged to since I came to live in RWC, and it's an important part for me, <br />there I feel part of the community. <br />When I saw the notification of rent increase I was paralyzed and very sad, I was <br />distressed and worried because $ 50 is too much, it is a pointless increase. Since I <br />really do not understand how someone can think we are going to pay that kind of <br />increases if our jobs never increase wages like that --even in a year much less from one <br />day to another. <br />I really don't know what we are going to do. Today it's my turn, but I've really seen how <br />many other families have been forced to leave. That's why so many schools are closing <br />here in RWC. I remember that people always said it's because there are not enough <br />students-- but how will there be students if our families are being expelled for unfair <br />evictions, and these rent increases are so high and meaningless? <br />
