6.A. - Page 1 of 5 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />A,&/ <br />DATE: October 28, 2019 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Amendment to agreement with Krupka Consulting for project management services for the US 101/84 <br />Interchange Reconstruction Project <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve Amendment No. 5 to agreement for professional services with Krupka Consulting in <br />the amount of $208,000 (for a total of $1,050,000) for project management services on the US 101/84 <br />Interchange Reconstruction Project. <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVE <br />Transportation <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City continues work on the Plans, Specifications, and Estimate/Right of Way (PS&E & R/W) phase of <br />the US 101/84 Interchange Reconstruction Project in coordination with Caltrans and the Transportation <br />Authority (TA). Staff has amended its contract with AECOM to complete additional design work on the <br />PS&E phase and overall utility coordination has extended the original schedule for this Project phase. <br />Krupka Consulting has provided project management services since project inception and staff wishes to <br />extend the Krupka Consulting agreement to cover the ongoing work. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Krupka Consulting will continue its current responsibilities, including provision of Project oversight, <br />administration of PS&E and R/W consultant contracts, coordination with Caltrans, the San Mateo County <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.ore <br />7 <br />
