6.B. - Page 3 of 42 <br />Through the use of on-call temporary services, the Department will have the staff available to meet the <br />administrative needs to complete routine clerical tasks and projects. Some of the duties for the <br />administrative services include typing reports, responding to complaints, maintaining technical filing, and <br />ensuring timely processing of permits. The contract agreement for temporary staffing will also assist with <br />covering the responsibilities of regular employees while on leave. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The fiscal impact of entering into three contracts with AppleOne Employment, HB Staffing Services, and <br />BOLT is not to exceed $300,000 for the three fiscal years beginning with FY 2019-20 and ending with FY <br />2021-22. Anticipated budget for FY 2020-21 and 2021-22 is subject to City Council approval. No additional <br />appropriations are expected for FY 2019-20. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public Notification was achieved by posting the RFP on the City website for any firms or members of the <br />public to view and respond to.
