Administration of Oath of Office, and presentation of Certificates of Election to <br />newly reelected Council Members; <br /> <br />City Clerk Howe administered the Oath of Office to re-elected Council Members <br />Alicia Aguirre, Ian Sain, Rosanne Foust and Barbara Pierce. <br /> <br />B. Nominations and selection of Mayor for a two-year term, conducted by City Clerk; <br />(Nominations do not require a second.) <br /> <br />City Clerk Howe explained the process for selection of Mayor and called for <br />nominations. <br /> <br />Mayor Pierce nominated Vice Mayor Foust for Mayor. She explained her reasons <br />for the nomination. Vice Mayor Foust was voted by unanimous roll call vote to <br />serve as Mayor until November 2009. MINUTE ORDER 07-208 <br /> <br />10. CALL TO ORDER BY THE NEWLY SELECTED MAYOR <br /> <br />A. Nominations and selection of Vice Mayor for a two-year term, conducted by the <br />Mayor; <br /> <br />Mayor Foust opened nominations for Vice Mayor. He further explained the <br />reasons for the nomination. Council Member Ira nominated Council Member <br />Howard for Vice Mayor. <br /> <br />MIS Pierce/Bain to vote Council Member Howard as Vice Mayor. Council <br />Member Howard was voted by unanimous roll call vote to serve as Vice <br />Mayor until November 2009.
