<br />B. Comments by Council Members, newly selected Vice Mayor, and Mayor; <br /> <br />Mayor Foust read a proclamation in honor of outgoing Mayor Barbara Pierce. She <br />further presented a photograph collage box exhibiting the various roles of Barbara <br />Pierce. The Mayor gavel was presented on a plaque and a piece of jewelry from <br />the Council was given to Council Member Pierce. <br /> <br />Council Member Pierce thanked Council, family, staff, and community members <br />for the honor and support. <br /> <br />All newly elected Council Members and Mayor Foust made their comments upon <br />their recent re-election. Mayor Foust stated her pride in serving as the next Mayor <br />and thanked everyone. <br /> <br />11. ADJOURNMENT - 8:20 p.m. <br /> <br />M/S Howard/Hartnett to adjourn to a reception in honor of newly reelected Council <br />Members and newly selected Mayor and Vice Mayor until the next Council meeting of <br />December 10,2007.
