1. That certain Plan entitled, "City of Redwood City, California, Urban <br />Water Management Plan 2000," a copy of which is on file in the offices of the <br />Public Works Services Department, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br />the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and adopted. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file the aforesaid <br />Plan with the California Department of Water Resources within 30 days from <br />adoption of this resolution. <br />3. The Department of Public Works Services is hereby authorized and <br />directed to implement the Water Conservation Programs as set forth in the Plan <br />adopted hereby, which includes a water shortage contingency analysis and <br />recommendations to the City Council regarding necessary procedures, rules, <br />and regulations to carry out effective and equitable water conservation and water <br />recycling programs. <br />4. Upon declaration of a Water Shortage Emergency, the Water Shortage <br />Contingency Plan described in the Plan adopted hereby, shall be implemented. <br />5.
