All of the identified impacts would
be less-than-significant (see Tables 7.21 #hrough 7.24 in appendix 5.1 af the Addendum). No
significant impact has been identied; no mitigation is required.
C. Air Quality
Impact 15-2: Pro'ect and Cumulative Im acts on Re ional Emissions. The
2003 EIR identified a significant impact resulting from project and cumulative impacts on
regional emissions.
Findings: The current Peninsula Park project wouEd generate regional emissions
below the BAAQMD significance thresholds for all identified pollutants, both without and with
implementation of the identified TDM measures. Therefore, the new project's impact on
regional emissions would be less-than-signicanf, and the mitigation identified in the 2003 E1R
for Impact 15-2 would no longer be required for regianal air emissions mitigation purposes.
XIV. CUMULATIVE IMPACTS
Implementation of the proposed Project in conj;artion with ther City-approved
projects would have a significant, unavoidable cumulative impact an population, housing, and
emplayment, ando trarsportation and circalation. These impacts are discussed more fully in
Sectians 1!1 and 1V above.
The environmental, econamic, social and other benefits of the Project override
the significant currulative impacts af the proposed Project, as more fully stated in the Statement
of Overriding Considerations.
XV.
