We are <br /> proud of many thoughtful developments that the building dept. made pflssible in the last i0 <br /> years. <br /> We frequent the proposed Marina Shore site for running, walking and just enjaying the <br /> nature. Because of many unique natural factors, Marina Shore site is not like any other in <br /> our cou.nty. As a city, we are fortun.ate to encompass that piece a� land within our borders <br /> and our foremost duty is to preserve it for future generations. <br /> The proposed 120-ft height limit is out of place in that serene and unique part of Redwood <br /> City. As a bnsiness people and rea]. estate developers ourselves, we understancl the <br /> importance of developing the City to increase reverzues and just to bring new energy into <br /> the City. <br /> Marina Shores is just not the right place for such a grand development. Even the two <br /> alternative proposals are too much. Please do not permit anything higher than 4-5 stories. <br /> I do not want to bore you with the details about various species' habitats on the site, <br /> but the place is one of a kind and such a huge development will destroy the unique balance <br /> of many natural factors at work there.
