I was present at the <br /> meeting, and was very impressed a#the thoughtfulness given by him in regards to the design and height of the <br /> project. (the height issue being the main reason Measure Q failed in 2004) As f understand it, Peninsufa Park <br /> has reduced the height from 240 feet to 120 feet, and that only 8%of#he praject wili be at the maximum height. If <br /> this does not pass, I'm afraid the deveioper will have to build rental apartment buildings or retail and o�ice. We <br /> need housing and i feel fhe project would be a great addition to Redwood City. <br /> In closing, please don't let a"few"community rr�ernbers sway the Planning Cammission to disallow a very <br /> important, thoughtful, and much needed housing development from our community! The reality is, the City staff <br /> will not be able to satisfy every last person who lives in Redwood City. <br /> Paul Powers has compromised enough.
