-- O R I G I N A L - 4/8/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12719 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING APPROVAL, PURSUANT TO <br /> CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT, OF THE <br /> PREZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1000 SEAPORT <br /> BOULEVARD IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF SAN <br /> MATEO COUNTY, MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS PERTAINING <br /> TO A PROPOSED PROJECT IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, <br /> STATING OVERRIDING CONSIDERATIONS RELATING TO <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS FROM SAID PROJECT WHICH <br /> CANNOT BE MITIGATED, AND AUTHORIZING FILING OF <br /> NOTICE OF DETERMINATION <br /> <br /> (PACIFIC SHORES CENTER PROJECT) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pacific Shores Center Limited Partnership (the "Project <br />Proponent") proposes to develop approximately 116 acres located in an <br />unincorporated area of the County of San Mateo adjacent to the City of <br />Redwood City at the terminus of Seaport Boulevard (the "Property") which <br />Property is within the "Sphere of Influence" of the City of Redwood City as said <br />Sphere is designated by the San Mateo County Local Agency Formation <br />Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Project Proponent proposes to develop the Property as a <br />light industrial, research and development business park consisting of some 1.5 <br />million square feet building area, including 14 single-story, 13 two-story, and 1 <br />five-story buildings (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Califomia Environmental <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Resources Code §21000, et seq.) a final <br />Environmental Impact Report en~tled, "Final Environmental Impact Report for the <br /> <br />DES:rg 1 <br />Reso-25a <br />G:~shared\Redwood~Council <br />03/04/96 <br />04/01/96R <br /> <br /> <br />
