Pacific Shores Center Project" dated Mamh 1995 (the "FEIR") has been <br />prepared for the Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 21, 1995, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Redwood City certified the FEIR as having been completed in compliance with <br />CEQA; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, appeal by certain interested parties was taken from the <br />aforesaid determination by the Planning Commission, upon the conclusion of <br />which appeal, on May 8, 1995, this Council concluded and determined that, with <br />amendment, said FEIR had been completed in compliance with CEQA, and <br />affirmed the decision of the Planning Commission to certify the FEIR; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Property is currently zoned "M-2" (Heavy Industrial) under <br />the zoning regulations of the County of San Mateo; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Project Proponent applied to the City of Redwood City, <br />pursuant to the provisions of Article 34 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance <br />(the "Zoning Ordinance"), to prezone 106.5 acres of the Property to the "IP" <br />(Industrial Park) Zoning District Classification and 9.5 acres thereof to the "Gl" <br />(General Industrial) Zoning District Classification under the Zoning Ordinance; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 19, 1995, the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Redwood City recommended to this Council approval of the prezoning <br />application; and <br /> <br />DES:rg 2 <br />Reso-25a <br />G:~shared~Redwood~Council <br />03/04/96 <br />04/01/96R <br /> <br /> <br />
