WHEREAS, on January 29, 1996, a duly noticed public hearing was held <br />by this Council on the question of said prezoning, at which hearing all persons <br />interested were heard, or given the opportunity to be heard, on the matter and <br />said hearing was closed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 12, 1996, this Council further considered the <br />application for prezoning and signified its intended approval thereof by the <br />introduction of a proposed ordinance entitled, "Ordinance Adding Section <br />60.23.11 to Ordinance No. 1130, the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, <br />Prezoning Property at 1000 Seaport Boulevard in the Unincorporated Area of <br />San Mateo County to the 'IP' and 'Gl' Zoning District Classifications" (the <br />"Prezoning Ordinance"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, environmental review and preparation of documents in <br />connection therewith should be carried out as early as feasible in the planning <br />process pertaining to developments (14 CCR § 15004; [references to previsions <br />of 14 Cal. Code Regs. § 15000, et seq., are to the "State CEQA Guidelines"]); <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to approval of the Prezoning Ordinance, this Council <br />desires to certify that the FEIR was presented to this Council, and that this <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information contained in the final FEIR, <br />in accordance with CEQA and the State CEQA Guidelines; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />DES:rg 3 <br />Reso-25a <br />G:~shamd~Redwood~Council <br />03/04/96 <br />04/01/96R <br /> <br /> <br />
