<br />78 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Attachment 1 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 12 OF <br />THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; ADDING <br />ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 12 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION; AND <br />ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE "INTERNATIONAL FIRE <br />CODE, 2006 EDITION", AS PUBLISHED BY THE <br />INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Article II (commencing at 12.7) of Chapter 12 of the Code of <br />Redwood City is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. A new Article 1/ (commencing at 12.7) is hereby added in its <br />entirety to Chapter 12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />"ARTICLE II <br /> <br />FIRE PREVENTION CODE <br /> <br />Section 12.7. Adoption; Conflicts. <br /> <br />A. Pursuant to Sections 50022.1 et seq., of the California Government Code <br />and Section 15 of the Charter of the City, the 'International Fire Code, 2006 <br />Edition (including appendices divisions B, C, D, E, F, and G, as published by <br />the International Code Council, is hereby adopted and shall be in effect within <br />the City to the same extent as set out in full herein, except as expressly <br />amended by the provisions of this Article. <br /> <br />B. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the Fire Code and the <br />provisions of this Article, the latter shall govern. (Ord.
