<br />EXHIBIT k <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />I. Purpose <br />The purpose of this scope of services is to provide the City of Redwood City (City) Community <br />Development Services (CDS) Department with professional consulting services related to on-call <br />traffic engineering and transportation planning support. Services will be provided by Richard K. <br />Haygood, P.E., T.E. of TJKM Transportation Consultants (Consultant). Mr. Haygood will report to <br />the City's CDS Director, or designee. <br /> <br />2. Scope of Services <br />Consulting support is anticipated for, but is not limited to, the types of projects or work items <br />identified below. City may request additional and/or modified services, which may require <br />amendment to this scope, pursuant to the City's contract amendment procedures. <br /> <br />Ongoing Traffic Engineering Consultation for Private Sector Development Projects <br />Consultant will provide traffic engineering support and technical guidance on document and plan <br />reviews for private sector projects being processed by the Planning Division, or anticipated in the <br />foreseeable future. Consultant may provide quality assurance/quality control reviews of consultant <br />and staff work products. Consultant may attend project meetings as directed by the CDS <br />Director or designee (e.g. Planning Manager). Example development projects may include, but are <br />not limited to: <br />. Peninsula Park <br />. The Preserve/Area H <br />. East Downtown Study Area <br />. Pete's Harbor <br />. Docktown Area <br />. Stanford University Office Complex <br />. Saltworks/DMB <br /> <br />Citywide Transportation Planning Support <br />The City has contracted with the Hogle-Ireland/Fehr & Peers consulting team for preparation of a <br />new General Plan and its associated CEQA documentation. Additionally, the City is contracting <br />with Fehr & Peers to develop an associated City Travel Demand Model, as well as an update of the <br />City's Transportation Impact Fee (TIF) Study. Consultant will provide technical guidance, review, <br />and comments on General Plan consultant work products, travel demand model development, and <br />the TIF Study update. Consultant may attend meetings as directed by the CDS Director or <br />designee (e.g. Planning Manager). <br /> <br />Ongoing Consultation for Regional Transportation Projects <br />The City is a key stakeholder in a variety of regional projects, requiring ongoing coordination with <br />the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA)_and the City/County Association of <br />Governments (C/CAG). Consultant will provide traffic engineering support and technical guidance <br />on such regional projects, and may attend project meetings as directed by the CDS Director or <br />designee. Example regional projects may include, but are not limited to: <br />. Woodside Road (SR 84)/10 I Freeway Interchange Reconstruction (T A) <br />. 2020 Peninsula Gateway Corridor Study (C/CAG) <br />. Traffic Incident Management Committee (C/CAG) <br />
