In response to the information presented in the Draft EIR as well as changing economic conditions, the Agency, the City and Developer formulated a revised definition of the project, referred to as Alternative 4 in the Final EIR, that is now preferred to the original proposed project or any of the other alternatives in the Draft EIR ( "Preferred Project ") and provides for the following uses: • On Block 1: Mixed -use building containing approximately 80,000 square feet of retail stores and a multiplex cinema. The cinema component of the project would have a total of 4,200 seats (compared to 4,500 in the original project) in 20 theater spaces. The building would contain a total of 160,453 square feet of interior space, and would be two stories (60 feet) high. • On Block 2: Parking structure and office building. The parking structure would contain 1,000 parking spaces on five parking levels, including one level below ground, one level at grade, and three levels above grade.
