In response to the information presented in the Draft EIR as <br />well as changing economic conditions, the Agency, the City and Developer <br />formulated a revised definition of the project, referred to as Alternative 4 in the <br />Final EIR, that is now preferred to the original proposed project or any of the <br />other alternatives in the Draft EIR ( "Preferred Project ") and provides for the <br />following uses: <br />• On Block 1: Mixed -use building containing approximately 80,000 <br />square feet of retail stores and a multiplex cinema. The cinema <br />component of the project would have a total of 4,200 seats (compared to <br />4,500 in the original project) in 20 theater spaces. The building would <br />contain a total of 160,453 square feet of interior space, and would be two <br />stories (60 feet) high. <br />• On Block 2: Parking structure and office building. The parking <br />structure would contain 1,000 parking spaces on five parking levels, <br />including one level below ground, one level at grade, and three levels <br />above grade.
