11125/2019 <br />ARTICLE X RESERVED. <br />Secs. 9.180.— 9.189. RESERVED. <br />SECTION 9. If any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this ordinance or of <br />the Code hereby adopted should for any reason, be found invalid, it is intended that all <br />other portions of this ordinance independent of any such portion as may be declared <br />invalid shall be valid. <br />SECTION 10. This adoption of this ordinance is exempt from CEQA pursuant to <br />Section 15061(b) (3) because it can be seen with certainty that adoption of this ordinance <br />will not have a significant adverse effect on the environment. <br />SECTION 11. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after adoption but not <br />before January 1, 2020. <br />SECTION 12, EXEMPTION FOR PENDING APPLICATIONS <br />A. The provisions of the 2019 California Codes adopted herein by reference as amended <br />herein, shall not apply to any building or structure for which application for a building <br />permit was made priorto January 1, 2020. Such buildings or structure shall be erected, <br />constructed, enlarged, altered or repaired in accordance with the provisions of the <br />Code in effect at the date of said application. <br />B.
