01/14/2008 <br /> Section 12.24. SECTION 903.4.5 OF THE FIRE CODE ADDED. <br /> Section 903.4.5 is hereby added to the Fire Code to read as follows: <br /> Section 903.4.5. Service <br /> All fire alarm systems shall be provided with central station service by the <br /> building owner. (Ord. No. 2242, § 2, 12-5-2002) <br /> Section 12.25. SECTION 903.4.6 OF THE FIRE CODE ADDED. <br /> Section 903.4.6 is hereby added to the Fire Code to read as follows: <br /> Section 903.4.6. Certification. <br /> All fire alarm systems shall be certificated by the Underwriters Laboratories (Ord. <br /> No. 2242, § 2, 12-5-2002) <br /> Section 12.26. CHAPTER 17 OF THE FIRE CODE DELETED. <br /> Chapter 17 of the Fire Code is hereby deleted and shall have no force and <br /> effect in the City. <br /> Section 12.27. SECTION 3301.1.3.1 OF THE FIRE CODE ADDED. <br /> Section 3301.1.3.1 is hereby added to the Fire Code to read as follows" <br /> Section 3301.1.3.1. Safe and Sane Fireworks. <br /> The manufacture, storage, possession, offer to sell, sale, solicitation, <br /> solicitation for sale, transportation, ignition, use, or handling of "safe and <br /> sane" fireworks as defined by Section 12529 of the California Health and <br /> Safety Code is prohibited. <br /> Section 12.28. SECTION 3404.3.7.6 OF THE FIRE CODE ADDED. <br /> Section 3404.3.7.6 is hereby added to the Fire Code to read as follows: <br /> Section 3404.3.7.6. Basement Storage. <br /> Class I liquids shall not be stored in basements. <br /> Section 12.29. Appeal to Council. <br /> Whenever the fire code official shall deny an application or refuse to grant a <br /> license or permit applied for under the provisions of this Code or revoke such <br /> license or permit after granting the same or when it is claimed that the provisions <br /> of the Fire Code do not apply or that the true intent and meaning of this Code <br /> have been misconstrued or wrongly interpreted, the applicant may appeal the <br /> Atty/Ord/Ord.293 10 2326 <br /> 120407 FORMERLY MUFF#305 <br />
