S.A. - Page 2 of 4 <br />ANALYSIS <br />The project was awarded for a base bid of $4,488,680. The project was successfully completed in <br />accordance with the plans and specifications. One change order was issued totaling $151,994. The final <br />contract amount is $4,640,674 which is 3.39% more than the original bid amount. The change order was <br />due to unforeseen field conditions that resulted in additional work requested by the City that was not <br />within the original scope of work, but was necessary to complete the project. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Sufficient funding for this contract were previously approved as Sewer Fund Capital Projects — Collection <br />System Replacement Program. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines Section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment.
