Exhibit A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />The Consultant shall furnish labor and equipment for the performance of the scope of work listed <br />below, subject to the conditions and exclusions identified. <br />1. Engineering Plans & Permitting <br />- Design/Engineer a new fuel oil system installing an aboveground tank in compliance with local, <br />state and federal regulations, including Professional Engineer stamped (California) drawings. <br />- Obtain permits from City of Redwood City Building & Fire Departments for the removal and <br />installation of a new aboveground storage tank. Including permit coordination and processing. <br />2. Tank Removal <br />- Mobilize to job site; secure the work area, implementing safety measures as needed. <br />- Lock-out/tag-out power breakers for fuel pump at the main panel. Disconnect power conduits. <br />- Remove existing leak detection system, fuel dispenser and hose reel to reuse. <br />- Drain and disconnect product piping, including generator supply and return lines. <br />- Triple rinse tank, pumping out rinsate in two (2) 55 -gallon drums and dispose as a hazardous <br />waste. <br />- Inert tank of hazardous vapors via Venturi pump. <br />- Provide certification that the aboveground storage tank has been properly rendered non- <br />hazardous. <br />- Schedule Redwood City Fire Inspector to witness tank removal, providing permit sign -off. <br />- Tank will be hauled off to a recycling center for disposal as scrap metal. <br />- Prepare closing documents. <br />3. Tank Pad Preparation - Concrete Work <br />- Demolish existing concrete supports. <br />- Prepare area for new tank pads; concrete saw, break and dispose existing concrete, grading <br />and leveling to match existing pad. <br />- Form and pour new concrete pads as designed. <br />- Allow concrete pad to cure per industry standards. <br />- Dig and install four (4) bollards for tank vehicular protection as required. <br />4. Aboveground Tank Installation per Design <br />- Provide and install a Modern Welding 1,000 -gallon UL2085 Fireguard cylindrical aboveground <br />storage tank with factory installed insulation, steel saddles, standard fittings, interior bare, <br />and exterior finish coat. <br />- Anchor and secure tank after installation. <br />- Install tank top accessories (emergency vents, direct reading level gauges, working vent). <br />- Reconnect existing remote fill containment set. <br />- Provide and install standard equipment and fittings for a suction fuel system, including a tank <br />top sump containment. <br />- Reconnect existing fuel dispenser and generator set, installing new piping runs. Piping shall be <br />double wall piping, using 1 in. threaded black steel schedule 40 pipe for the primary <br />containment and 3in. fiberglass for secondary containment. <br />- Reconnect existing leak detection system. <br />- Upgrade existing electrical conduits to allow for use with new AST equipment installation; <br />modify as required to comply with current regulations. <br />REV: 09-30-2020 EI <br />ATTY/AGR.Amend.
