- Installation of labels that contains applicable signs for the AST (NFPA, Hazardous <br />characteristics, Combustible label, AST Contents, Working/Max Capacity). <br />- Verify system operability. <br />- Schedule Redwood City Building and Fire inspectors for final inspection of the new tank <br />installation. <br />- Prepare closing documents. <br />Conditions <br />- Work to be performed on regular working hours. <br />- One mobilization included in price. <br />- Scope assumes access to nearby domestic water supply and toilets. <br />- No extra work will be performed without an authorized Consultant Change Order, executed by <br />the City of Redwood City, outlining the additional Scope of Work and the estimated costs. <br />- All work will be done in accordance with industry standard and applicable federal, state and <br />Local regulations. <br />- Rates of transportation, disposal or handling of contaminated soil/groundwater, or any <br />Hazardous materials are subject to changes without notice. <br />- Scope assumes existing items scheduled to remain are in good working order. Any time spent <br />diagnosing, repairing and/or replacing existing items is to be done on Time and Materials <br />or by change order. <br />- Extra work/Time and Materials to include management costs. <br />- City of Redwood City to provide access and parking for any equipment necessary for <br />completion of said work (including but not limited to trucks, backhoe, and compressor). <br />Exclusions <br />- Work required as a result of Fire Permit requirements not shown in the project/contract <br />drawings or in the specifications. <br />- Work not shown in project/contract drawings or in the specifications. <br />- Disposal or handling of contaminated soil/groundwater, or any hazardous materials except for <br />what is explicitly stated. <br />- No removal, replacement or relocation of any underground utilities. <br />- Fuel is not included. <br />- Responsibility for any damage to all existing equipment. <br />- Responsibility for damage or replacement of underground utilities and/or existing asphalt and <br />concrete due to heavy equipment traffic. <br />- Any electrical work, shoring, soil sampling and soil test report, soil compaction not specifically <br />listed. <br />- Work not specifically listed. <br />- Design work, calculations or stamped drawings other than specifically listed. <br />- Bonding - Performance, Payment, and/or Maintenance <br />Payment Terms <br />Consultant shall provide the services outlined in this Scope of Work for a not -to -exceed amount <br />of $96,263.00 and Additional Services as delineated in the Additional Services table in the Original <br />Agreement for a not -to -exceed amount of $103,737, for a total not -to -exceed amount of <br />$259,750.00 over the two-year term of the Agreement.
