7.C. - Page 5 of 178 <br />2) Installation of a new median island and curb extensions at the Valota Road and Madison Avenue <br />intersection; <br />3) Installation of a new mini traffic circle at Madison Avenue and Myrtle Street; and <br />4) Expansion of the existing traffic circle at Hudson Street and Madison Avenue and removal of the <br />two-way stop control on Madison Avenue. <br />FIGURE 2 — Site Plan Traffic Calming Measures <br />Phase 2: Sequoia YMCA <br />Staff anticipates that Phase 2 will be submitted to the City for entitlements following CEQA certification. <br />While neither phase of the project requires a Zoning Map Amendment for the proposed land uses, staff <br />is recommending a Zoning Map Amendment to Public Facilities (PF) for consistency with the General Plan <br />designation, Parks.
