7.D. - Page 56 of 126 <br />City of Redwood City <br />Mixed -Use Live/Work and Emergency Shelter Zoning Amendment Project <br />Impact 4.14-8: Adoption of the General Plan would promote Beneficial <br />transit usage and accessibility within the City, which could <br />complement existing and planned transit service within existing <br />capacity. <br />The proposed project would allow for a denser urban core with <br />mixed-use development that may facilitate alternative modes of <br />transportation. <br />Impact 4.14-9: Adoption of the General Plan would have the Less than VMT for the transportation analysis zones affected by the <br />potential to decrease the Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) per significant proposed zoning amendment ranges from 11.97 to 13.62 VMT <br />household as compared to the existing General Plan. per capita.
