CLK-Pamela Aguilar
From: Rachel Holt <rachelholt97@gmail.com>
Sent: Monday, December 16, 2019 931 AM
To: GRP -City Council
Subject: Mills Act porperties
Mayor Howard and Council -
I am so pleased to see on your agenda tonight the three properties that are being reconuncnded for Mills
Act. All three of these homes represent the sleep history, both in terms of architecture and past residents, that is
so important in both the Mt. Carmel and Edgewood Park neighborhoods. It is heartwarming to read the letters
from the current owners of those properties explaining their desire to preserve these historic homes. I commend
their efforts, as I know personally the additional expense that owning an "older" home can bring. I write to you
in support of all three, and hope that you will all \ ote Lo approve a Mills Act contract.
Grateful for your service,
Rachel Holt
