E7 A BUILD MORE HOUSING <br />+5 A We need more housing and higher density, we cannot use our needs as a tool for negotiation. <br />Increased housing density is not an optional luxury, it is a needed fix for a broken system. <br />+a A There should certainly be incentives for providing community benefits, but with the current <br />housing crisis density should not be one of the incentives <br />+4 A- We need more housing supply period, but if other benefits are included then that's an added <br />bonus. <br />+q A. Need more housing for people! What's the alternative to increasing density near downtown? More <br />cars on freeways, longer commutes, more pollution? More density farther from downtown? <br />+q A please, I would like to have lower rent. Surely the increased tax base from more people living in <br />PWC can help with paying for things. <br />+3 A. We need housing. Stop adding so manyjobs, make it easier to actually build homes. <br />+2 A and B. We need additional housing so badly that I hate to impose many restrictions. On the other <br />hand builder should be encouraged to add amenities. <br />+t A no more of this "affordable housing" scam please. <br />2 A We need more housing, let's not make it even more expensive to build. <br />A -- as long as they adhere to zoning & planning commission approvals, let developers do their job. City <br />improvements should come from the increased tax base. <br />A. There should obviously be rewards for city improvements, but there should be some increased <br />density regardless. <br />A) More housing is desperately needed, especially affordable housing, and there should be no barriers to <br />building it. So *housing* density should be increased without strings attached, but commercial density <br />can and should be tied to community benefits. <br />A, We have to stop layering all these extra costs on new housing if we want to increase supply and lower <br />prices for everyone. It's death by a thousand cuts for housing. <br />
