It's the city's responsibility to both ensure that there is a strong supply of affordable housing and <br />that community benefits are available. Redwood City already has plenty of great community benefits <br />which are what drew me here in the first place. What's really desperately needed is more dense <br />housing, especially downtown where residents can easily access mass transit. We shouldn't in anyway <br />disincentivize developers from building denser housing, which is what forcing them to provide public <br />amenities would do. <br />+1z A Parking is a detriment not a benefit and we need all the housing we can get, unconditionally. <br />9 Awe need housing to fix the crisis. <br />
