8A ATTACHMENT Page 15 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE PRESERVE AT REDWOOD SHORES PRECISE PLAN WITH RECOMMENDED CHANGES (THE "PRECISE PLAN"); ADOPTING AND INCORPORATING THE MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM INTO THE PRECISE PLAN; AND MAKING THE REQUIRED CEQA FINDINGS WHEREAS, on December 2, 2002, the City Council of the City of Redwood City (the "City Council") adopted Ordinance No. 1130-315, to permit the creation of Planned Community Districts as an additional tool to assist the City with its future planning activities; and WHEREAS, in compliance with California Environmental Quality Act regulations, on December 18, 2007, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City (the "Commission") adopted a Final Environmental Impact Report for the Preserve at Redwood Shores ("Area H") Precise Plan (the "Precise Plan"); and WHEREAS, on December 18, 2007, the Commission voted to recommend that the City Council approve the Precise Plan with recommended changes and the associated Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program; and WHEREAS, on December 18, 2007, the Commission voted to recommend to the City Council that the real property (Assessor's Parcel No. 095-460-180) currently zoned as TP (Tidal Plain) Zoning District be rezoned to P (Planned Community) Zoning District; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendation of the Commission as to the Precise Plan, and has considered evidence received at a duly noticed public hearing related thereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. Section 2. That the Precise Plan dated September 19, 2007, with recommended changes set forth in the document entitled "Response Matrix: Precise Atty/Reso/Reso.1786 012208
